Fleet Manager
Applications are now being accepted for the position of Fleet Manager in the Maintenance division at Ada County Highway District in the Boise, Idaho area. These are exempt level positions, with an annual starting salary of $76,731- $92,061 /DOQ.

Primary Responsibilities:
- The Fleet Manager is responsible for the supervision of the Fleet Operations personnel and coordinates the fleet activities involving budgeting, procurement, maintenance programs, replacement schedules, disposal procedures, vehicle and equipment operation and allocation.
- The incumbent oversees employee training in the safe operation of equipment and assures compliance by his/her crew to all District safety standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must have strong management skills and experience in fleet management principles and practices, industry standards and fleet management software.
- Knowledge of functions and capabilities of modern heavy-duty equipment, trucks and light vehicles.
- Knowledge and experience are required in Management practices and procedures, Supervisory practices and techniques, contract management and administration, and accounting and financial management.
- Considerable industry related experience in fleet maintenance and/or fleet management along with completion of a recognized training or certification program; supervisory training and/or experience
- OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acceptable
