Temporary Administrative Clerks

 

Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is accepting applications for two Temporary Administrative Clerks.  The wage is $11.00 per hour. These are full-time positions working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Qualifications:

 

Permit Desk Clerk.  Position needed to start immediately, and is expected to last 8-months.  Primary responsibilities include greeting the public, answering phone inquiries, processing permits, updating bonding/insurance information for contractors, scanning documents, and entering data.

 

Traffic Operations Clerk.  Position needed to start by November 13, 2018, and is expected to last 8-10 weeks.  Primary responsibilities include greeting the public, answering phone inquiries, originating purchase orders, tracking inventory use, preparing training requests, and general clerical duties as assigned.

  


Temporary Position Application Process

Seasonal/Temporary positions working with ACHD's crews are hired through a temporary agency, and are not employees of ACHD. A completed Seasonal/Temporary Position Interest Form is required (not an ACHD employment application), and must be submitted to ACHD's Human Resources for the selection process.
