Ada County Highway District

Tree and Shrub Pruning Information for 2020

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will be in the following area over the next few months pruning trees and shrubs to meet required roadway clearance requirements for upcoming maintenance activities.

Why Prune?

Properly maintained trees and shrubs not only allow safe travel for those that drive, walk and bike, it also makes it possible for maintenance trucks and equipment to work on your street. Pruning also protects your trees and shrubs from damage from maintenance equipment when crews are crack sealing, chip sealing, or making concrete/ashpalt repairs.
