Boise- Work to improve and extend the life span of one of east Boise’s busiest roads will begin Tuesday, September 7. ParkCenter Boulevard from Bown Way to Beacon Street will receive a fresh layer of asphalt.
Crews will begin initial work on Tuesday (September 7) preparing utility manholes along ParkCenter. Some work will occur during nighttime hours when fewer cars are on the road.
One lane in each direction will be open to traffic during construction and delays are possible.
The overlay process includes removing an existing layer of asphalt, placing new asphalt and painting new lane lines. The work is anticipated to take approximately one month to complete.
The resurfacing project is part of the $1.6 million in local overlay work approved for this year.
