Boise-- A one day closure of Franklin Road, between Cloverdale Road and Eagle Road will begin Friday, April 8 after the morning rush hour and could continue through the evening commute. During the closure, a water line crossing will be replaced on Franklin.
Closing the road during this type of work will create a safer environment for motorists and crews. Drivers will need to take Pine Avenue as a detour while the closure is in place; however those who live along this section of Franklin will still be able to access their homes.
The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is currently widening the Franklin/Cloverdale intersection; however this closure is not part of the project.
As a public service, ACHD provides information about lane restrictions and closures for both ACHD and non-ACHD work. For the latest on all road work happening in Ada County, visit
