Two Downtown Boise streets will be converted from one-way to two-way traffic tonight
Boise – Starting tonight (Tuesday, Oct. 13), 13th Street from Main Street to State Street, and 14th Street from Front Street to State Street, will be converted from one-way to two-way traffic. Ada County Highway District
crews will work overnight to complete the conversion, so that when motorists begin the morning commute tomorrow morning (Wednesday, Oct. 14), these portions of 13th and 14th streets will be two-way. All work is weather dependent.
These portions of 13th and 14th streets will be closed Tuesday night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Flaggers will allow east/west traffic through the intersections.
Information boards have been in place alerting motorists to the traffic pattern change. Motorists should still use caution while everyone is adjusting to the new changes.
These roadway conversions are part of the Downtown Boise Implementation Plan, a collaborative effort of many local agencies in an effort to bring transportation improvements to the core of Downtown Boise.
