Boise – The Ada County Highway District will host an open house on Thursday (October 29) from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Boise Senior Center. ACHD staff want to hear from those who use this intersection the most—whether they walk, bike or drive—and are seeking feedback about what currently works about the intersection, what needs improvement, and what those improvements should look like.

The results of this meeting will be incorporated into a concept design with recommended improvements for this intersection.
The Open House will be held at the Boise Senior Center, 690 N. Robbins Road, in Boise. Two small group discussions will be held at 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Those who are unable to attend the Open House can view the materials online and participate in a short online survey which will be available at the close of business on October 30.
The Ada County Highway District and the City of Boise are studying alternatives to address safety and congestion at this intersection. The goal of this project will be to safely accommodate current and future traffic volumes at this intersection for all users.
This project was approved in ACHD’s 2012 Capital Improvement Plan.
