Crews have also installed signalized pedestrian/bicycle crossings where Shamrock Avenue intersects with Ustick Road, Fairview Avenue, and McMillan Road.
The ten-foot bicycle path was constructed along ACHD unopened right-of-way on Shamrock Avenue between Gunsmoke Drive and Ustick Road, and Arch Street and Montana Street. The pathway was also constructed on ACHD unopened right-of-way south of where Shamrock Avenue ends to connect to Emerald Street.
Officials from the Highway District, the City of Boise, and the local bicycle community will be in attendance to help commemorate the completion of the project.
