Ada County – Several local events and road construction projects will impact roadways over the weekend:
•5th Street between Idaho Street and Bannock Street; 6th Street between Jefferson Street and Idaho Street; and Bannock Street between 4th Street and Capitol Boulevard will be closed starting today (August 5) through Sunday (August 7) for BAM JAM.
•15th Street between Grand Avenue and Grove Street, and 16th Street between Grove Street and River Street will have lane restrictions between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. tomorrow. Front Street between 15th Street and 16th Street will be closed. The restrictions and closure are accommodating the grand opening of Rhodes Park.
•Road closures will be in effect for the Kuna Parade from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday (August 6). Detour routes will be posted. The parade route is as follows:

•Hill Road between Highway 55 and Horseshoe Bend Road, and Horseshoe Bend Road between Floating Feather Road and Dry Creek Cemetery will have lane restrictions with flagging on Monday (August 8), as crews chip seal these roadways.
•McMillan Road between Ten Mile Road and Star Road will have lane restrictions with flagging to accommodate tree trimming from Monday (August 8) to Thursday (August 11).
•McDermott Road between McMillan Road and Star Road will have lane restrictions with flagging to accommodate tree trimming from Monday (August 8) to Wednesday (August 10).
Motorists are advised to use caution, expect delays, and plan alternate routes of travel whenever possible.
Local events and road work to cause traffic delays
