Two local events and crane work to create impacts to traffic this weekend

Boise – Two local events and building construction will create road closures and lane restrictions starting tomorrow (October 1). 

·         6th Street between Broad Street and Myrtle Street, and Broad Street between 5th and 6th Street will be closed Saturday, October 1 for the Boise Brewing Hoptober Freshtival. 6th Street between Grove Street and Broad Street will also have lane restrictions.

·         Grant Avenue between University Drive and Belmont Street, and Euclid Avenue between University Drive and Belmont Street will be closed from midnight tonight (September 30) until 2 hours after the Boise State football game on Saturday, October 1. Motorists can expect delays in this vicinity for four hours prior and two hours after the game. Boise Police and Boise State Parking Staff will be directing traffic.

·         11th Street (northbound) between Myrtle Street and Front Street will be closed on Sunday, October 2 to accommodate crane work for building construction.

Motorists are advised to expect delays in these areas, and use alternate routes of travel whenever possible.
