Road construction will cause lane restrictions in downtown Boise over the weekend

Boise – Starting as early as tomorrow (Friday, October 21), several road construction projects will be in progress, requiring lane restrictions on three downtown Boise roadways. 

·         Myrtle Street at 5th Street will have multiple lane restrictions starting tomorrow (Friday, October 21) through Monday (October 24) at 5 a.m. Crews will be installing a geothermal crossing across this portion of Myrtle Street. This work will be performed at night.

·         Capitol Boulevard at Broad Street will have multiple lane restrictions on Saturday and Sunday (October 22-23) as crews install a water main. This work will occur during the day.

·         Jefferson Street, between 1st Street and 16th Street, will be paved tonight (Thursday, October 20) through Tuesday night (October 25). During paving operations, sections of Jefferson Street will be closed intermittently, flaggers will direct traffic and on-street parking will be restricted. This work will be performed at night.

Motorists can expect significant delays in these areas and are advised to use caution.
