Construction on Warms Springs Avenue continues; roundabout opens

Boise - The roundabout at Parkcenter Boulevard and Warm Springs Avenue is now open to traffic, as is the Parkcenter Bridge. Parkcenter Boulevard from Bown Way to Warm Springs Avenue is also now open to traffic.

Warm Springs will continue to be closed from Parkcenter Boulevard to Old Hickory Way to complete the second roundabout at Old Hickory Way. Detour routes will be posted. The roundabout is expected to be finished mid-July.

Motorists navigating Warm Springs Avenue between E. Walling Drive and the Warm Springs Golf Course can expect delays beginning Monday, June 29th. Titan Technologies, a contractor for the City of Boise will be repairing 150 feet of settled asphalt on this portion of the road; a result of prior utility work. One lane will remain open for the traveling public, and flaggers will be on site to help guide motorists. Construction will take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. These repairs must be completed before the road is repaved. This project is expected to be complete by July 3.

Also, beginning next week, Ada County Highway District crews will begin concrete work on Warm Springs Avenue from Broadway Avenue to Starcrest Drive in preparation for the future overlay. Motorists can expect minor lane closures, and flaggers will assist motorists through the construction. Milling and paving will begin in mid-July.

Looking ahead, Conger Management Group has requested the closure of Warm Springs Avenue near Ben’s Crow Inn from July 6 to July 10 for sewer work for the East Valley Subdivision No. 2. Detours will be posted.

We understand that road construction can bring with it inconvenience to motorists, but the end result will be smoother, safer, and longer-lasting roads for all users.
