Lane restrictions expected in the 36th Street/Hill Road/Catalpa Drive area

Boise - Catalpa Drive between Collister Drive and Garden Center Way has been milled and prepped, and starting today, will receive a fresh coat of pavement. Work is permitted weekdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Weekend work is permitted between the hours of 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The overlay work will continue until mid-October.

Simultaneously, utility work is starting in the area next week in preparation for the 36th Street/Hill Road/Catalpa Drive Roundabout Project. Probst Electric will begin utility work on 36th Street between Shasta Street and Hill Road next week. Knife River will also start utility work next week on Hill Road between 34th Street and Whitehead Street. Work on this project is permitted from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. This work is expected to continue into the early part of November.

Lane restrictions are in place, and flaggers are on site to help guide motorists through the construction area. Delays can be expected, and motorists are advised to find an alternate route around the construction whenever possible.
