ACHD asks for input on funding and spending priorities

Faced with growing needs for better signal timing, for more efficient intersections and roads, and for expanded pedestrian and cycling facilities, the Ada County Highway District is asking the public about spending priorities -- and the willingness to pay for more service and projects.

The ACHD Commission wants input as it considers investments for the future. Alongside an ongoing telephone survey of Ada County citizens, an online survey is available to those who wish to weigh in.

Input from the surveys will inform the Commission's upcoming decisions on the annual budget as well as the longer range plans concerning big dollar improvements -- road expansions, intersection upgrades, bridges, and neighborhood-level programs and projects.

The online survey closes on May 25.
