Plan to be Presented to ACHD Commission
The East Boise Neighborhood Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan will be presented to the ACHD Commissioners for possible adoption on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.; however, this project is one of several agenda items and may not be the first item discussed. ACHD staff will make a brief presentation followed by an opportunity for public comment before the Commission acts.
If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to submit comments, please send them to 3775 Adams St., Garden City, ID 83714 or to firstname.lastname@example.org.

In April ACHD hosted the East Boise Neighborhood Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan open house and online commenting map to gather feedback from East Boise residents about what they thought should be done to improve walking and biking in the East Boise area. If you participated in this effort, THANK YOU!
There were many projects identified by the community as desirable for more pedestrian and bicycle friendly connections that will be included in the proposed Plan. However, there were several larger connections we would like to know what you and your neighbors think about before adding them to the Plan.
Join us for popsicles to learn more about what the future projects could include and tell us whether you think they should be included in the final plan.
ACHD is working on a plan to help improve walking and bicycling in East Boise. As part of the plan we will be working with residents to identify issues and concerns related to walking and biking in the community. Input from neighborhood residents will help identify projects that can be implemented to support walking and biking in the area.
If you missed the 4/25/17 open house, please review the displays under "Related Documents".
