Suez is working on a water line replacement on Overland and Columbus. This work will last through the end of May.

This project is being built in conjunction with improvements on Columbus Street, Overland to Kootenai and Kootenai, Vista to Federal Way. There is ongoing utility relocations for both Kootenai and Columbus. Columbus between Overland and Kootenai is currently closed for irrigation pipe installation and storm drain pipe installation.

There was a preconstruction conference held on February 8th. Crews will begin work as early as the week of February 18th.

Update

Originally, this project was to be constructed during the spring/summer of 2018. Unfortunately, the bids we received for construction were not satisfactory. As a result, the project will go back out to bid the fall of 2018 and we anticipate construction will begin spring 2019.
