Construction Update as of 06/14/19:
Ada Street is complete. Crews will begin milling on Sherman Street the week of June 10th. Milling on Alturas will take place after Sherman Street is milled. On street parking will be restricted during this work.
Crews will begin milling Ada Street on Wednesday, May 15th. After the milling on Ada Street is complete they will move over to Sherman Street. There will be no street parking allowed during this work. No Parking signs and door knockers have been placed in advance. Asphalt paving on Ada Street could begin as early as Friday, May 17th.
There was a preconstruction conference held on April 10th. The notice to proceed for this project was April 20th. Work begin at Ada Street, then Sherman Street, and will end with Alturas Street.
No parking signs have been placed on Ada Street in preparation for the start of work.
This is a pavement maintenance project that includes five segments of roadways in Boise. Construction includes removing and replacing asphalt, improving adjacent pedestrian ramps as needed, and replacing storm drains and pipes as needed. Segment 3 includes pavement rehabilitation, upgrades of adjacent pedestrian ramps and pipe replacements.
