2019 Federal Aid Capital Maintenance Phases 1 & 2

Phase 1: Is complete.

Phase 2:

Asphalt paving on Emerald Street, Cole Road to Orchard Street is complete. Permanent striping and raised pavement markings are scheduled to be complete on October 31st, weather dependent.

Asphalt paving on Orchard Street, Overland Road to Franklin Road is complete. Permanent striping and raised pavement markings are scheduled to be complete on October 31st, weather dependent. 

General Description:
This fall the Ada County Highway District will begin work on 2019 Federal Aid Capital Maintenance project. This project includes pavement rehabilitation, select pipe replacement and pedestrian ramp upgrades. This project will be completed in phases. 

Phase One:

Roadway improvements will be done at night on weekdays, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM or on weekends, day and/or night work. Motorists should expect lane closures, lane shifts, and flaggers. The section of Fairview from Eagle Road to Dixie Lane was until the spring of 2020, due to weather. Milling and paving on Latah Street, Division Avenue, and Annett Street is scheduled for Spring 2020.

  • Annett Street, Victory Road to Targee Street: Complete
  • Division Avenue, Boise Avenue to Beacon Street: Complete
  • Latah Street, Overland Road to Alpine Street: Complete
  • Fairview Avenue, Dixie Lane (just east of Locust Grove Road) to Cloverdale Road: Complete

Phase Two:

Concrete work will be done during the day and may require daytime lane closures between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Roadway work will be done at night between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM on weeknights or on weekends (day and/or night). Roadwork is anticipated for late May 2020.

  • Emerald Street, Cole Road to Orchard Street: Asphalt paving is complete. Remaining work includes manhole adjustments and permanent striping.
  • Orchard Street, Overland Road to Franklin Road: Asphalt paving is complete. Remaining work includes manhole adjustments and permanent striping.
