This summer the Ada County Highway District will begin work on 2019 Federal Aid Capital Maintenance project. This project includes pavement rehabilitation, select pipe replacement and pedestrian ramp upgrades. This project will be completed in phases.
Construction Update as of 9/16/19: The contractor is working on concrete sidewalk improvements on Fairview at Records Avenue, Venture Street, and Cloverdale Road.
Concrete work will begin on Fairview Avenue, between Eagle Road and Cloverdale Road the week of September 9th. This work will be done during the day and may require lane closures between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Roadwork is expected to start late September. Work will be done at night on weekdays, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM or on weekends (day and/or night). Roadwork will require lane closures and lane shifts.
Construction Update as of 9/16/19: Concrete work started on Emerald Street on September 3rd and is ongoing; Orchard Street between Overland and Franklin will follow. Concrete work will include improvements to pedestrian ramps, sidewalks, and valley gutters as needed. Concrete work will be done during the day; milling and paving will be done at night. There may be daytime lane closures between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Roadway work will be done at night between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM on weeknights or on weekends (day and/or night). Roadwork is expected to start in mid-September and will require lane shifts and lane closures.
