Linder Road, Pine Avenue to Franklin Road

Construction Update as of 3/27/2020: ROAD CLOSURE Linder Road from Franklin Road to Pine Avenue will be closed from March 23rd to 31st. The Boise Valley Railroad will be working on improvements at the railroad crossing. There will be a hard closure at the railroad tracks. Traffic will not be able to travel southbound on Linder Road from Pine Avenue past the railroad tracks. Instead, traffic will need to travel northbound on Linder Road from Franklin Road to reach businesses and residences between Marcon Lane and Franklin Road.

Irrigation installation began the week of February 10th and is expected to complete by Friday, March 20th. Idaho Power is installing new poles. There is ongoing utility work on the west side of Linder Road, crews will be working from Marcon Lane south towards Franklin Road. Business access will remain open.

Traffic Information: There may be daytime lane restrictions with flagging. Crews are working on the traffic signal at the Franklin intersection, this may require the intersection to be placed in temporary flashing operations with flaggers.

A preconstruction conference was held on January 20th.

General Description:
The Ada County Highway District will widen Linder Road to five lanes with curb, gutter, sidewalk, storm drain, and bike lanes. The project includes upgrading the Union Pacific Railroad crossing, irrigation crossings, and Bridge #131. This project is a top priority Safe Routes to School request from the West Ada School District.
