Construction Update: April 8, 2022: Canal work complete. Fence remaining. 

Construction Update: March 18, 2022: Excavation complete. Prepping for wingwalls. Concrete pipe installed. Irrigation box and headwall walls placed. Backfill remaining. 

Construction Update: March 4, 2022: Excavation complete. Prepping for wingwalls. Concrete placed floors. Concrete pipe anticipated installed first week of March.

Construction Update: February 25, 2022: Excavation complete. Prepping for wingwalls. Utilities moved out of conflict.

Construction Update: February 18, 2022: Preconstruction meeting held November 18th.  Notice to proceed was November 30th. Gas company moving lines. Water being relocated. Excavating for concrete wingwalls ongoing.

Construction Update: February 10, 2022: Preconstruction meeting held November 18th.  Notice to proceed was November 30th. Waiting on precast delivery. Contractor will start work February 7^th  with the expected closure to last to the beginning of April.

General Description:
As part of the Ada County Highway District's (ACHD) Bridge Maintenance Program, ACHD will start construction on the 45th Street Bridge Project north of Chinden Boulevard as early as December 2021. The purpose of this project is to replace the aging underground bridge structure over the Thurman Mill Canal. Construction is anticipated to end early spring of 2022. 

Construction Impacts:

• Lane restrictions
• Temporary on-street parking impacts
• General construction noise, dust, equipment backup alarms and ground vibration
• Crews will work from 7a.m. to 7 p.m. unless otherwise approved
• The contractor will work with homeowners to maintain access
