Parkinson Street Bridge #1450

Construction Update as of 4/2/19: This project is being built in conjunction with a bridge at Conover Street. Canover Street has recently re-opened and so work began on Parkinson Street. Parkinson Street closed early March and will remain closed while crews work on the new bridge structure. The structure is complete and crews are working on backfill and general cleanup.

General Description:
The Ada County Highway District will replace Bridge #1450 over Spoils Bank Canal on Parkinson Street as part of ACHD's Bridge Maintenance Program. The existing corrugated metal pipe will be replaced with six-foot elliptical reinforced concrete pipe and extended to accommodate curb, gutter, and sidewalks in the future.
