Franklin and Liberty Intersection

General Description:

• Signalize intersection and add crosswalks
• Add left turn lanes to Franklin and Liberty
• Widen bridge on Franklin (east of intersection)
• Replace bridge on Liberty (north of intersection)

Project Purpose

This intersection improvement project is intended to improve traffic capacity and safety at the intersection.

Construction

This project is currently listed as unfunded in the ACHD 2010-2014 Five-Year Work Plan (FYWP). Unfunded projects are those that have a project component (design and/or right-of-way) included in the FYWP, however, the construction portion lacks available funds.
