Lake Hazel and Eagle Intersection

General Description:

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is designing future improvements for the intersection at Lake Hazel Road and Eagle Road to improve traffic flow and increase safety for all users.

2021 Update

The design has been updated to include a multi-use pathway for bicyclists and pedestrians.

Project Description

• Widen and signalize the Lake Hazel and Eagle intersection
• Add dual left-turn lanes on most approaches
• Include additional thru lanes
• Add dedicated right turn lanes on two approaches
• Install curb, gutter and sidewalks. Most of the sidewalk will be buffered, except for one section on Lake Hazel Road.
• Include painted crosswalks
• Construct buffered bike lanes
