Lake Hazel Road and Cloverdale Road

The Ada County Highway District is designing future improvements for the Lake Hazel Road and Cloverdale Road Intersection. The purpose of this project is to improve safety and connectivity for all users, as well as accommodate current and future traffic.

Project Description

• Additional through lanes
• Dedicated right turn lanes on three approaches
• Curb, gutter, and multi-use pathways
• Controlled access with raised curb to increase safety
• Add pedestrian ramps to provide more mid-block pedestrian and bike crossing opportunities
• The drainage basin will be placed in the southeast corner of the intersection

Timeline

• 2021: Begin Design
• September 2021: Public input opportunity #1
• February 2022: Public input opportunity #2
• 2023: Purchase necessary property for the project
• 2026: Construction
