Construction update: December 13, 2021: ACHD will begin construction on Christine Street from Northview Street to Ustick Road. Construction is scheduled to start in January 2022 and substantial completion is planned for mid-summer 2022. Utility companies have already started to relocate existing overhead and underground facilities. 

General Description:

• Construct curb, gutter and sidewalk on both sides of Christine Street between Northview Street and Ustick Road to match existing
• Rebuild the roadway
• Rebuild existing speed humps
• Project design

Project Purpose:

• Increase connectivity and safety for children walking to and from local schools.

Timeline:

• Fall 2017 thru summer 2018 - right-of-way purchases
• Early 2022 - Construction
