General description:
In early February the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will start construction on the Five Mile Road and La Grange Street Pedestrian Project. The purpose of this project is to improve safety and increase connectivity for bicyclists and pedestrians. Construction is anticipated to be complete early in summer 2022.

Work includes: 

• Installing an enhanced pedestrian crossing across Five Mile Road at west Hazel Park Street
• Constructing an asphalt pathway on the west side of Five Mile Road, south of La Grange Street
