Vista Avenue and Nez Perce Street Pedestrian Crossing

August 19, 2021 Update: Signals were activated on August 18th. Crosswalk signs will be installed by August 20th. Final punch list walk was held August 18th. Project is substantially complete. 

August 13, 2021 Update: Waiting on Idaho Power to activate the signals. Coordinating final punch list walk for the week of August 16. 

July 30, 2021 Update: Work is nearly complete. Contractor anticipates striping on August 2nd. 

July 22, 2021 Update: The contractor has completed demo on the west side of Vista. Concrete pedestrian ramps and sidewalk have been set on the west side as of July 13th. Concrete pedestrian ramps and sidewalk have been set on the east side as of July 15th. Electrical work is ongoing. Poles have been set on the west side. 

June 29, 20201 Update: TTC items have been set. The contractor has started demo on the west side of Vista. 

June 18, 2021 Update: A preconstruction meeting was held May 17th. Notice to proceed in mid-June. The contractor anticipates starting June 21st. 

General Description:
Install an enhanced crossing at Vista Avenue and Nez Perce Street. Project includes bike push buttons and relocation of bus stops closer to Nez Perce from Spaulding in coordination with Valley Regional Transit.
