General Description:
In spring of 2021 the Ada County Highway District will begin work on three phases of the Federal Aid Capital Maintenance program. These projects include pavement rehabilitation, select pipe replacement and pedestrian ramp upgrades. Work will be done on the following segments of road:
- 2019 Federal Aid Capital Maintenance Phase 3
- Cherry Lane, Shoshone Street to Owyhee Street- Complete.
- Elder Street, Owyhee Street to Vista Avenue- Complete.
- Owyhee Street, Elder Street to Cherry Lane- Complete.
- 2020 Federal Aid Capital Maintenance Phase 2
- Gowen Road, Orchard Street to Broadway Avenue- Complete.
- 2020 Federal Aid Capital Maintenance Phase 3
- Owyhee Street, Cherry Lane to Overland Road -Asphalt paving is complete. Remaining work includes permanent striping.

Additional Traffic and Construction Impacts
- Work on Gowen Road will primarily be done at night.
- Work may include, but not be limited to, temporary closures, lane and parking restrictions, general construction noise, dust equipment back up alarms and ground vibration.
- Crew are expected to work weekdays, however they may work on weekends if necessary.
