2020 Microseal

Construction Update as of October 9th, 2020: The thermoplastic is complete. Work to treat ruts at the following three intersections is on-going: 

• Amity & Linder:  Striping is remaining.
• Amity & Locust Grove:  Striping is remaining.
• Ten Mile & Cherry:  Striping is remaining.

General Description:

This spring the Ada County Highway District will begin construction on the 2020 Microseal project. Work will be done in downtown Boise on Jefferson Street between 3rd Street and 16th Street. The project includes applying a fast-drying asphalt-based sealant and restriping the road with new bike lanes. Jefferson Street will be closed while crews are working. Most of the work will be done at night.

Work will include, but not be limited to, temporary closures, lane and parking restrictions, general construction noise, dust equipment back up alarms and ground vibration.

Access to homes and businesses will remain open.
