2020 Residential Capital Maintenance

Construction Update as of 11/13/20: Clean up and punch list items remain on all segments. 

General Description:

This spring the Ada County Highway District will begin construction on the 2020 Residential Capital Maintenance project. Construction includes roadway reconstruction and pedestrian ramp replacements and upgrades on:

• Heron Street, Harrison Boulevard to 13^th Street- Complete
• 10^th Street, Fort Street to Heron Street--Complete
• O'Farrell Street, 13^th Street to 4^th Street- Complete
• Maple Avenue, Warm Springs Avenue to Franklin Street- Complete
• Pierce Court (aka Pierce Place), Shenandoah Drive to the north end (will be concrete): Complete

 The project also includes adding seepage beds to collect and filter sediment from stormwater.

Utility work will also be done, including water line replacements, conduit relocations, etc. Water line replacements are currently scheduled to start before the ACHD project.

Each segment is likely to be closed to through traffic while work is done. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained unless agreements are made prior to. The work may include, but is not limited to, general construction noise, dust, equipment back-up alarms, and ground vibration.
