Administrative Specialist

Ada County Highway District is now accepting applications for an Administrative Specialist in the Adams Maintenance Department. This is a full time, non-exempt position with a starting wage range of $16.00 - $18.40 per hour, DOQ.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• The Administrative Specialist will perform a variety of advanced administrative and clerical tasks including answering phones, tracking purchase orders and invoices, maintaining databases, reconciling materials used, dispatching crews for emergency situations, etc.

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to deal effectively with the public, as well as a good knowledge of filing systems and general office practices and procedures.
• Requires proficiency in Word, Excel, and databases.
• Any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities are acceptable.
