The proposed Interagency Agreement between Valley Regional Transit (“VRT”) and Ada County Highway District (“ACHD”) for Transit Signal Priority Pilot Project (“Agreement”) establishes the terms and conditions under which ACHD and VRT will implement and operate a Transit Signal Priority (“TSP”) pilot project that facilitates the movement of in-service transit vehicles through traffic signals by modifying the normal signal operation to improve transit travel times. |

Staff requests Commission approval of the construction bid to Idaho Backhoe for the amount of $244,525.00 to construct new curb, gutter, sidewalk and pedestrian ramps in Boise. |

The 2015 Maintenance Crack Seal started construction on January 26, 2015. Following the start of construction work, staff identified the need for additional traffic control flaggers due to the close proximity of intersections, especially in the downtown area. Staff is seeking Commission approval of Construction Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $48,986.27. |
