Learn More About Draft Plan and Budget

The Ada County Highway District invites residents to get a first glimpse at the agency's 2022-2026 Integrated Five Year Work Plan (IFYWP) and learn about the draft 2022 budget at a public meeting on Thursday, July 15th. The meeting will be open to the public both in-person at the ACHD headquarters and virtually via Zoom, beginning at 5:30pm.

The draft 2022 budget, an estimated $155M spending plan, includes projects to increase safety and mobility and provides needed funding for necessary maintenance and operation of Ada County roads, sidewalks, traffic signals, bike lanes and related infrastructure.

The District's IFYWP sets forth the strategies, projects and priorities that ACHD plans to pursue over the next five years in an effort to improve existing infrastructure as well as new improvements that are vital to the functionality of the County's transportation system.

"We encourage residents to join us to learn more about the draft plan, the process that went into its creation, and the continued commitment to all levels of improvements to the Ada County transportation system in the coming years," said Senior Transportation Planner Kristy Inselman. "This is a great opportunity for the public to provide feedback on what improvements are proposed in their neighborhood or on their commute."

District staff will be available to answer questions from the public on related planning efforts, future projects, and the proposed budget. Residents that are unable to attend can still submit comments on either the budget or IFYWP. To learn more about the public information meeting or to submit comments, visit the ACHD Budget & IFYWP Workshop page.
