2022 Microseal

General Description:
Beginning early August, crews will be working overnight to apply a microseal overlay on various streets in Boise and Kuna. The microseal process involves cleaning the existing asphalt and then applying a fast-drying asphalt-base sealant. Roadways are microsealed to protect them from water and weather damage, so they stay in good condition. 

The following road segments are included in the program:

• Franklin Road, Cole Road to Orchard Street
• Emerald Street, Cole Road to Latah Street
• Bridge Avenue, Railroad Crossing to Avenue D
• Main Street, Avenue D to Linder Road
