Clark Street, Orchard Street to Roosevelt Street

Construction update as of 10/12/18:  Clark Street is considered substantially complete.

Curb is complete on Targee and paving is scheduled for the week of October 15th.

Neighborhood Impacts

• Clark Street will have lane restrictions with flaggers. However, the street may be closed temporarily to through traffic when necessary. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
• Driveway closures - contractor will coordinate with impacted residents.
• Equipment back up alarms and ground vibration.
• General construction noise and dust.

Please note that utility work related to the project may begin earlier to complete work before construction begins.

This project is being constructed alongside the Targee Street, Owyhee Street to Shoshone Street project.

General Description:

Based on public input heard from the March 12th open house, ACHD will proceed with Option 2, constructing curb, gutter, and sidewalk on both the north and south sides of Clark Street. The next step will be to finalize the design and purchase needed right-of-way in 2016. Construction is planned for 2018. • Increase pedestrian connectivity.
• Provide a safe route for children walking to area schools.
