2021 Federal Aid Capital Maintenance Phase 2

Construction Update: January 21, 2022 - Preconstruction meeting was held December 15th. Segments include:  Edna Street, Five Mile Road to Patton Street. Concrete work is scheduled to start in late January. Warm Springs Avenue, Starcrest Drive to Starview Drive - Warm Springs Avenue, Glacier Drive to SH-21

 

General Description:
This winter, the Ada County Highway District will begin work on phase one of 2021 Federal Aid Capital Maintenance Project. This is a pavement maintenance project that consists primarily of the removal and replacement of either all or a portion of the existing asphalt pavement (depending on the street segment). Work also includes reconstructing adjacent curb ramps to meet modern standards and minor storm water pipe replacements. Pedestrian ramp work and concrete work is expected to start this winter, while roadwork is expected to start early spring. Construction is anticipated to end early summer of 2022. Work will be done on the following segments of road:

  • Edna Street, Five Mile Road to Patton Avenue
  • Warm Springs Avenue, Starcrest Drive to Starview Drive
  • Warm Springs Avenue, Glacier Drive to State Highway 21
