The Ada County Highway District is excited to announce a new Deputy Director of Maintenance, Jennifer Berenger.
Berenger joins ACHD after 22 years in the Air Force. Most recently, she served as Deputy Commander of the Mission Support Group at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota and again at Osan Air Base in South Korea, where she oversaw a highly diverse organization with activities including civil engineering planning, road maintenance, vehicle fleet maintenance, logistics, and contracting.
As the Deputy Director of Maintenance, Berenger is responsible for the oversight and strategic planning of District programs and functions as related to roadway, bridge, equipment and facility repair and maintenance. She will also lead staff to ensure performance expectations are met with regards to the overall organizational efficiency and performance of the Maintenance Division.

Berenger is originally from eastern Idaho. She has two master's degrees, including a master of public administration, and an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering.
